The prevalence of dengue has significantly affected numerous individuals in Tamil Nadu over the past few months.
In response to the emergence of new leprosy cases reported last year, the Health Department of Tamil Nadu has undertaken strategic initiatives, including awareness programs, with the goal of eradicating leprosy by the year 2025. Consequently, the Tamil Nadu Health Department diligently conducts awareness programs on both dengue and leprosy, specifically targeting educational institutions such as schools and colleges.
On the 22nd of November 2023, a dedicated program was organized at the Pallavaram ITI and Skills Academy. Knowledgeable resource persons delivered presentations utilizing PowerPoint, and approximately 80 students were in attendance, benefiting from the informative session.
