The Pre-training School that once existed in Thoraipakkam has now developed into a full-fledged training center. In this center all kinds of preparatory training and education is given to boys for:
1) Orientation before the boys join IID centers,
2) Three-months Discipleship Training Courses,
3) Two-weeks summer courses,
4) Leavers courses,
5) Coordination of all ongoing IID DTC courses.
There is a constant emphasis on teaching good character to the boys. This is being done through discipleship training and daily devotions with teachings that are relevant to their day-to-day life.
